🍁 Urban Landscaping: Nature in the City

Urban landscaping is the quiet ability to experience natural beauty amidst the concrete of city life and as September rolls in, that beauty begins to shift. Trees lining the sidewalks start their slow transformation, hinting at the golds and ambers to come. Fall is approaching, and even in the city, you can feel the rhythm of nature taking hold.

Many assume that living in a city removes the pleasures of nature, but in many neighborhoods in the city like mine, that’s simply not the case. We have beautiful greenways and peaceful paths where people walk, scooter, bike or stroll through with a mobility device to enjoy fresh air and changing leaves.

These spaces aren’t just “nice to have”…they’re essential. In a fast-paced world, urban nature gives us a way to reset, even if just for a moment. As the season shifts, so does our pace. We pause more. We notice more. And sometimes, we just breathe.
